About "The Cherry Tree Carol (Joseph Was an Old Man)" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
A cherry tree bends low in a miracle's shadow. The choir narrates Joseph's old-man doubt with tender, storytelling warmthâeach verse a folk-like tableau of blossoms and begrudging faith. The tension lies in the gap between barren branches and sudden fruit, a husband's quiet shame yielding to wonder.
