About This Song
About "Warlock: Balulalow" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Warlock's setting of the Scottish lullaby glows with hushed, chromatic intimacy. The choir rocks between major and minor like a cradle swaying in firelightâsweetness laced with a strange, aching stillness. It is a lullaby for a child who is also a king, sung as if the world might shatter if the notes grew too loud.
