About "Les goûts-réunis, Concert No. 8 "Dans le goût théâtral" : F. Couperin: Les goûts-réunis, Concert No. 8 "Dans le goût théâtral": IX. Air léger" by Aurèle Nicolet
Another 'air léger,' this one returns like a breeze through an open window—familiar yet refreshed. The flute's tone is airy, almost weightless, but the phrasing holds a quiet insistence, as if joy must be repeated to be believed.
