About "Les goûts réunis, Concert No. 9 "Ritratto dell'amore" : F. Couperin: Les goûts réunis, Concert No. 9 "Ritratto dell'amore": VIII. L'et coetera ou Menuets" by Aurèle Nicolet
A pair of minuets under the cryptic title 'L'et coetera'—the 'and so forth.' The flute steps through courtly gestures with a wink, elegant but slightly askew. It's charming music that knows it's charming, and that self-awareness gives it a sly, modern edge.
