About This Song
About "Partita for Solo Flute in A Minor, BWV 1013 : J.S. Bach: Partita for Solo Flute in A Minor, BWV 1013: I. Allemande" by Aurèle Nicolet
The Allemande from Bach's solo Partita unfolds like a solitary walk through an empty cathedral. Nicolet's unaccompanied flute traces ornate, unhurried lines, each ornament a stone carving. The calm is profound, yet the music's dense polyphony creates a quiet, internal turbulence—order against longing.
