About This Song
About "Partita for Solo Flute in A Minor, BWV 1013 : J.S. Bach: Partita for Solo Flute in A Minor, BWV 1013: II. Corrente" by Aurèle Nicolet
Corrente is a brisk, solo dance—Nicolet's flute skipping through Baroque rhythms with crisp articulation. The unaccompanied line feels both free and tightly wound, a solitary figure spinning in a sunlit square. Beneath the lively surface, a thread of solitude runs through every quick, bright phrase.
