About This Song
About "Flute Sonata in G Minor, BWV 1020 (Doubtful, Attrib. C.P. E. Bach as H. 542.5) : J.S. Bach: Flute Sonata in G Minor, BWV 1020 (Doubtful, Attrib. C.P. E. Bach as H. 542.5): III. Allegro" by Aurèle Nicolet
This doubtful sonata's Allegro crackles with theatrical energy, possibly C.P.E. Bach's hand. Nicolet's flute struts and sighs, the harpsichord a conspiratorial partner. The music balances gallant charm with sudden, dramatic turns—a masked ball where elegance hides a hint of unease.
