About This Song
About "Flute Sonata in B Minor, BWV 1030 : J.S. Bach: Flute Sonata in B Minor, BWV 1030: II. Largo e dolce" by Aurèle Nicolet
The Largo e dolce unfolds like honey on a slow spoon: Nicolet shapes Bach's line with a gentle, singing tone. There's a calm here that borders on melancholy, the flute and continuo locked in a soft, unbroken dialogue.
