About This Song
About "Kim" by Charlie Parker
Parker's 'Kim' is a tender, almost ballad-like theme, the title evoking a person or a fleeting moment. The saxophone's tone is warm but edged with melancholy, and the rhythm section's subtle push-pull creates a quiet unease—beauty haunted by impermanence.
