About "Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-Flat Major, Op. 73 "Emperor" : Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-Flat Major, Op. 73 "Emperor": II. Adagio un poco moto – (Live)" by Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli
Michelangeli turns Beethoven's Adagio into a hushed, floating prayer—each note a drop of light on still water. The live setting adds a fragile breath, a tension between the emperor's grandeur and the pianist's intimate whisper, as if the whole concerto might dissolve into air.
