About "Carnaval, Op. 9 : Schumann: Carnaval, Op. 9: XII. Chopin" by Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli
Schumann's homage to Chopin unfolds as a nocturne-like reverie. Michelangeli caresses the keys with velvet touch, the piano becoming a moonlit salon where elegance and sorrow entwine. Calm reigns, yet a subtle unease—a ghost of longing—haunts every lingering chord.
