About This Song
About "Carnaval, Op. 9 : Schumann: Carnaval, Op. 9: III. Arlequin" by Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli
Arlequin bounds in with a wink: Michelangeli’s staccato is all elbows and mischief, a prankster’s dance of sudden leaps. The cheer is infectious but brittle—under the acrobatics, a flicker of nervous energy, as if the joke might turn on the joker.
