About This Song
About "Carnaval, Op. 9 : Schumann: Carnaval, Op. 9: I. Préambule" by Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli
The Préambule bursts open like a music box unlatched: Michelangeli sets the carnival’s stage with crisp, martial flair. Under the festive fanfare, a current of anticipation—a crowd gathering, masks in place, the calm before the whirlwind of characters.
