About This Song
About "All My Heart This Night Rejoices" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
This carol opens like a door onto a snow-dusted threshold, the choir's unison warm as breath on cold air. The melody rocks gently between major and minor, joy shadowed by the knowledge of the cross to come. It's the sound of a heart rejoicing while still holding grief in its pocket.
