About "Berlioz: L'enfance du Christ, Op. 25, H 130, Pt. 2 "La fuite en Égypte": L'adieu des bergers à la Sainte Famille. "Il s'en va loin" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Berlioz’s shepherds’ farewell is a tender, unhurried adieu. The choir’s soft-edged harmonies drift like smoke from a dying fire, carrying both devotion and melancholy. A quiet tension between departure and lingering love—sacred, yet deeply pastoral.
