About "Parry: I Was Glad" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Parry's 'I Was Glad' erupts with ceremonial splendor, brass and organ lifting the choir like a rising sun. Yet beneath the pomp lies a trembling joy—a gladness that knows its own fragility, making the final 'Amen' feel like both triumph and surrender.
