About This Song
About "Schubert: Gebet, Op. Posth. 139 No. 1, D. 815: Wohin du mich willst haben" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
The final movement of Schubert's Gebet submits to divine direction with a melodic line that feels both resolute and vulnerable. The choir's blend is immaculate, but the emotional weight comes from what's withheld—a stepping into darkness with only faith as a lantern.
