About "Gallus: Opus musicum, Liber I: Resonet in laudibus" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Gallus's Resonet in laudibus is a Renaissance echo chamber: one choir answers another, the sound bouncing like light off marble. The music is buoyant, almost dance-like, but the text's joy carries a hint of solemnity—a celebration that knows the silence waiting at the end of the phrase.
