About This Song
About "Mendelssohn: Elijah, Op. 70, MWV A25, Pt. 2: No. 28, Trio. "Lift Thine Eyes"" by Boys Of King's College Choir, Cambridge
From Mendelssohn's Elijah, this trio lifts 'Thine Eyes' with the weight of a whispered secret. The boys' voices intertwine like climbing vines, each line seeking the others in tender counterpoint. There's a quiet tension here—hope held aloft against the gravity of doubt.
