About "Holst: Nunc dimittis" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Holst's Nunc dimittis is a twilight lullaby, the choir's lower voices rumbling like distant thunder beneath a serene soprano line. The text's release—'let thy servant depart in peace'—is rendered with bittersweet gravity. It's the sound of a door closing gently, light fading, and the profound quiet that follows.
