About This Song
About "Harris: O What Their Joy and Their Glory Must Be" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Harris builds a hymn of celestial citizenship, its melody striding forward like pilgrims toward a shining gate. The text's promised joy flickers between certainty and longing—the choir's fervor never quite erases a shadow of earthly exile. Listen for the soaring descant, a thread of gold stitching earth to heaven.
