About "Goodenough: Psalm CL. "O Praise God in His Holiness"" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Goodenough's setting of Psalm 150 is a blaze of choral color—trumpets, cymbals, and dancing rhythms all implied in the voices. It's exuberant, almost brash, but the choir's precision keeps the ecstasy taut, as if praising God requires every ounce of control.
