About "Praetorius: Quem pastores laudavere" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Praetorius sets shepherds' praise spinning in a rustic dance, recorders and voices entwined like garlands on a maypole. The joy is earthy, almost rowdy—a nativity scene where the hay crackles and the animals shift. Yet beneath the celebration, a quiet awe: these rough hands are the first to kneel.
