About "Kodály: Missa brevis: V. Sanctus" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Kodály's 'Sanctus' begins as a murmur and swells into a blazing affirmation—earthbound voices reaching for the divine. The choir's dynamic arc is thrilling, from hushed awe to full-throated acclamation. Yet the rhythm's folkish bite keeps it grounded, a sanctus sung by people, not angels.
