About "Crotch & Longhurst: Psalm CIV. "Praise the Lord, O My Soul"" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
The organ announces a sunlit processional, voices ascending like incense in a vaulted nave. Crotch's setting radiates confident praise, yet beneath the ceremonial grandeur lies a trembling awe—the soul summoned to address its maker. Listen for the trebles' bright edge against the lower voices' warm foundation, a sonic architecture of devotion.
