About "Bainton: And I Saw a New Heaven" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Baintonâs 'And I Saw a New Heaven' unfurls with luminous, cinematic breadth. The choirâs rising phrases suggest a veil lifting, but a trembling undercurrentâawe mixed with fearâkeeps the vision from becoming mere comfort. A stunning, unsettled revelation.
