About This Song
About "Tye: Mass "Euge bone" a 6: I. Gloria" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Tye's Gloria from the Euge bone Mass opens like a sunlit door, six voices exulting in cascading imitation. The music's joy is muscular yet buoyant, each cadence a small architectural triumph that leaves the listener breathless and strangely grounded.
