About This Song
About "Rutter: Dormi Jesu "The Virgin’s Cradle Hymn"" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Rutter’s lullaby cradles the listener in soft, rocking harmonies. The choir’s gentle sway evokes a mother’s whisper over a manger, but a thread of wistfulness runs through—joy touched by the world’s coming sorrow. Sweet, yet quietly aching.
