About "Ord: Adam Lay Ybounden" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Ordâs 'Adam Lay Ybounden' sets a medieval text with stark, modal harmonies. The choirâs crisp articulation evokes a chain of fate, each verse a step from bondage toward a fragile, unexpected grace.
